Location: Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina Key Responsibilities In‑Office Technical Support: Serve as the first point of contact for basic technical issues; assist with troubleshooting hardware and software on Mac and Windows, under guidance of senior team members. Hardware & Software Management: Install, support, and perform routine checks on office hardware (computers, printers) and software; diagnose, repair, or coordinate maintenance for IT equipment. Office IT Operations: Support meeting‑room equipment setup and ensure proper functioning of AV and collaboration tools; assist during presentations and events; maintain workspace order, cable management, and workstation readiness; participate in office moves involving IT setup. Asset & Inventory Management: Support tracking and organization of IT equipment and storage; update ISO documentation for inventory and asset tracking; assist with hardware repairs, replacements, and lifecycle tasks. Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare equipment for new hires, including workstation setup and distribution; collect and process equipment during offboarding. Team Collaboration & Documentation: Maintain and update IT documentation and policies with supervision; support rollout of new tools, applications, or workflows; assist with basic tickets in FreshService or Slack. Relationship Building: Build positive working relationships with Monks teammates, fostering a collaborative, service‑oriented environment. Experience and Qualifications Previous volunteer work, personal tech projects, or customer‑service exposure is a plus. Technical Skills Basic understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Office365, or any ticketing system (training provided). Interest in learning device management tools (e.g., Jamf), security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike), and collaboration platforms (Slack). Specialized Skills Willingness to learn printer troubleshooting and meeting‑room hardware setup. Ability to assist with simple networking/WiFi questions once trained. Language Intermediate English level. Enthusiasm for learning IT terminology and best practices. Soft Skills Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Proactive, hands‑on, and willing to take initiative. Comfortable working independently while representing the Global IT team. Ability to manage time, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks. Problem‑solver with curiosity and creativity. Certifications are a plus but not required.
