Assistant Accountant

Job Description - Assistant Accountant (1-year contract) (MER0003UTM) Description Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Invoice verification and monitor the progress Staff claims and Concur system maintenance Review the payment run cycle and approve the ad hoc payment request from Business Unit Technical and accounting support on SAP VIM system Closing Work closely with Shared Service Centre team on daily accounting operations Review monthly GL analysis schedules Review the reconciliation report of goods in transit Reporting Prepare Inter-company cross-charging reports for management review Handle internal control report Accounts Receivable Reconcile the weekly statement of account from our dealer Review the weekly vehicles and spare parts statement prepared by Shared Service Centre Monitor the status of dealer settlement and follow up on overdue balance if any Others Master data maintenance for customer, vendor, general ledger & fixed assets Inventory physical count Ad-hoc accounting tasks Qualifications University Graduate in Accounting 2 years or above working experience in related areas Candidates with more experience will be considered as an Accountant Student of professional accounting body (HKICPA, ACCA or other accounting body) and at least passed 4 papers or equivalent Hands‑on experience in SAP is preferred Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Words, PowerPoint) Fluent in English and Cantonese Detail minded, good interpersonal and influencing skills Well‑organized and able to work under pressure according to given timeline Good team player Potential candidates who meet our requirements, kindly apply with full resume & application letter indicating your available internship period via “Apply Now”.
