Responsibilities Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to turn complex business needs into elegant and scalable UI solutions. Design for Performance and Usability : Champion best practices for responsive design, accessibility, and frontend performance. Full-Stack Collaboration : While your primary focus will be front-end, you’ll occasionally contribute to backend systems (Node.js and Go) and support the full-stack architecture. IoT and Real-Time Interfaces : Develop interfaces that interact with physical devices using real-time protocols, such as WebSockets , MQTT , or Kafka, to visualize complex telemetry and sensor data. Startup Agility : Adapt to changing priorities in a product-led, agile environment. Own problems end-to-end, taking initiative to propose and implement solutions. Qualifications Strong ability to contribute to product and design decisions — you’re not just handed designs, you help shape them. Demonstrated experience collaborating with designers using tools like Figma , with the ability to assess design quality, feasibility, and suggest enhancements. Deep understanding of responsive design , CSS architecture , and modular front-end component systems. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and version control workflows (Git). Comfort working with APIs and integrating with real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets , Kafka , or MQTT . Willingness to contribute to backend codebases in Node.js or Go when needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work independently, manage time well, and thrive in a distributed, remote-first team. Nice to have Experience with IoT dashboards , sensor data visualization, or device telemetry interfaces. Backend experience with Go or event-driven microservices. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), localization, and performance optimization. Contributions to design systems or component libraries. Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment.
