Security Flex Manager

The AMB Sports & Entertainment (AMBSE) Security Flex Manager will have responsibilities supporting Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS), the Atlanta Falcons (AF), the Atlanta United (AU), and the respective training facilities. Key responsibilities include supervisory and direction for the protection, safeguarding, and security of associates, vendor partners, visitors, and company assets of the facilities and teams. The security manager will continue to improve, develop, implement, and ensure compliance with all security policies, procedures, and programs. This individual will report to the Vice President of Security for AMBSE with significant direction from both team and stadium security directors to manage and be responsible for security operations for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and other events held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.**RESPONSIBILITIES*** Liaison for MBS Security Department to AMBSE departments to offer guidance & approvals on security & safety procedures.* Will be one of the “security managers” on duty for private events, tours events & Home Depot Backyard events held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.* Part of AMBSE Security Team that responsible for security of patrons, teams and/or talent during major events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and both training facilities.* Part of AMBSE Security Team that oversees safe ingress and egress at Mercedes-Benz Stadium gates during all major events.* Responsible for executing athlete and talent movements for NFL, MLS & Third-Party events. + Security point of contact for executive protection details while on site. + Including team travel for away matches/games (Domestic and International).* Travel with Atlanta United Supporters as visiting team security liaison for the group. + Responsibilities include escorting them safely to the venue, deescalate any issues during the match/ game with home team supports & executing holds post-game to ensure safe exit.* Work with local & federal partners to ensure event day safety and security of guest at MBS.* Assist credentialing procedures for Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United & Third-Party Events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.* Lead and drive contract services at Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United Training Facilities.* Responsible to compile, organize & printing of credentials for Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Untied & Third-party events which include stadium staff, team services, ownership, media, broadcast & visiting team.* Responsible for ordering employee & inspected wristbands for major events, ensuring they do contradict with visiting team colors and/or premium wristbands being used.* Coordinate with law enforcement regarding team and visiting team K9 sweeps at hotels.* Day to day operations – creating and disseminating AMBSE associate, contractor & vendor badges.* Responsible for teaching security/safety related topics and orientations to all AMBSE associates.* Expected travel is 25-30%**OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES*** Responsible for uploading all incident reports into incident tracking software after major events to ensure all information is up to date for internal use and reporting to the NFL and MLS.* Responsible for submitting post-game NFL safety report to the league within 72 hours of play. + Includes assuring all information related to fan code of conduct is properly recorded and has supporting documentation.* Submit post-match safety report that is submitted to the MLS after home Atlanta United Matches.* Work with legal department to pull incident reports related to litigation holds against AMBSE.* Conducting investigations at all the facilities.* Planning and execution of security operations for off-site team events, CR, NFL pre-season joint practices at away facilities, United training camps, etc.* Liaison with host facilities to coordinate special security needs for away games/matches**SUPERVISORY DUTIES*** Will lead and direct contract services including off-duty law enforcement.**QUALIFICATIONS*****Knowledge, Skill and Ability.**** The position requires strong management, administrative, supervisory, training, presentation, consultant, and facilitator skills.* Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Ability to communicate effectively with and to Executive Management.* Ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.* Skill in assessing security risks and needs.* Ability to obtain necessary clearances for review of sensitive material.* Superior knowledge of technical aspects of security systems (including IP Cameras, door access, fire systems, and human resource scheduling programs – Genetec, Evolv, Dataminr).***Education or Formal Training:**** Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.* Training relevant to crowd management/crowd control, security systems and emergency preparedness/response.***Experience:**** 5+ years’ experience in stadium or public gathering security setting or law enforcement (combination of both preferred).* Experience in special event security and public assembly venue security highly desirable.* P.O.S.T. Certification or military background (preferred)***Material and Equipment Used:**** Two-way radio.* Proprietary time management and scheduling software.* General office equipment to include mobile phone, copier, computer/keyboard, etc.* Security equipment to include CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm monitoring systems.***Working Environment/Physical Activities:**** Stand, walk, talk, or hear 2/3 or more of time, moderate to very loud noise.* Sit, use hands, fingers, handle or feel up to 2/3 of time.* Lift up to 30 lbs. up to 1/3 of time.* Will require travel 25% of the time.**About Mercedes-Benz Stadium**Opened in August 2017, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a world-class sports and entertainment venue in downtown Atlanta and home to the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United.
