Overview I’m helping Virtual Talent Latam find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Shipping Sales & Booking Coordinator . You'll drive global trade, independently managing end-to-end logistics and expanding vital client relationships. Compensation Provide your expected compensation while applying Location Remote: Argentina Mission of Virtual Talent Latam "Helping virtual assistants and contact center agents find work and improve their skills" What makes you a strong candidate You are proficient in Shipping management, International Commercial Terms (Incoterms), Freight forwarding, Application management services (AMS). You have +3 years experience in Logistics, International freight forwarding. English - Fully fluent Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Generate, manage, and close new shipping business independently. Prospect, qualify, and onboard new customers. Prepare and present freight quotes (FCL, LCL, and air freight) from Asia to the U.S. Negotiate rates, pricing, and service terms to close profitable deals. Maintain and grow existing customer accounts. Booking & Shipping Operations Convert closed deals into confirmed bookings. Coordinate ocean and air freight shipments from origin to destination. Communicate with overseas agents, origin offices, and carriers. Manage booking confirmations, schedules, and cut-off times. Handle shipping documentation (BL instructions, ISF, AMS, invoices, packing lists). Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues. Customer Relationship Management Serve as the main point of contact from sale through delivery. Provide shipment updates and ensure high customer satisfaction. Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business. Systems & Reporting Maintain accurate records of sales activity and shipments in CRM/TMS systems. Coordinate billing and profitability tracking with accounting. Requirements Required 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics. Proven experience shipping from the Far East to the USA. Strong knowledge of ocean freight (FCL/LCL); air freight is a plus. Demonstrated ability to close freight sales independently. Knowledge of Incoterms and U.S. import regulations (ISF, AMS). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Preferred Existing book of business. Experience working with NVOCCs, carriers, and overseas agents. Familiarity with CRM and TMS systems. Commission 3% commission on all shipping bookings closed by the coordinator. $200 USD bonus for each customer that signs up for 3PL warehouse services (lead generation only; warehouse sales are handled by a separate sales team). Personal Qualities Sales-driven and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Highly organized and customer-focused.
