Our developers design, build and release software products using modern programming languages, frameworks and libraries. As a Python Senior Developer at Endava, you will play a key role in delivering scalable backend and cloud‑based solutions using Python and modern frameworks. Key Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions and ETL workflows that extract, validate, process, and transfer data across systems. Work across the full backend stack — application code, infrastructure, and databases — ensuring scalability and maintainability. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools. Monitor and optimize ETL jobs and backend services to ensure reliability, performance, and efficient data flow. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to validate data, correct issues, and deliver accurate, timely reports. Participate in architecture and implementation design discussions, ensuring alignment with scalability, performance, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team, fostering collaboration and, knowledge sharing. Communicate progress, blockers, and risks proactively with stakeholders. Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications 6–8 years of experience in backend development using Python. Proven experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines and data processing workflows. Strong background in backend architecture and scalable system design. Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch. Proficiency in tools like SQLAlchemy, Alembic, boto3, Pydantic, and pytest. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and containerized environments (Docker). Solid understanding of databases, data validation, and integration patterns. Familiarity with observability practices and monitoring systems in production environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, in dynamic contexts.
