Responsibilities Strategically lead and mentor the frontend engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. Architect, design, and implement scalable, performant, and sustainable front-end solutions that align with our business goals and technical vision. Pioneer the development of reusable components and micro-frontends, setting a high standard for code quality, modularity, and maintainability. Take full end-to-end ownership of features, from ideation and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Serve as a hands-on technical leader, actively contributing to the codebase while setting and maintaining the highest technical standards. Lead technical discussions with authority, challenging assumptions, proposing cutting-edge solutions, and driving architectural innovation to keep us at the forefront of technology. Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and frameworks, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of front-end advancements. Optimize front-end performance by analyzing bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and leveraging advanced techniques to deliver a seamless and lightning-fast user experience. Qualifications Expert knowledge of Angular, Qwik, RxJS, NgRx, Apollo/GraphQL, TypeScript, and CSS/SASS, with the capability to dive deep into new languages and technologies like WebAssembly, Go, or others as required. A visionary mindset with a proven track record of implementing complex frontend architectures at scale while maintaining a hands-on approach. A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends, ensuring the team's technical direction is aligned with cutting‑edge developments. Experience with WebGL libraries such as Pixi, Babylon, or Three.js, and a familiarity with gaming or gamification concepts (desired but not mandatory). A natural ability to thrive in a remote environment, demonstrating discipline, self-motivation, and accountability.
