Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator in the LATAM region to join our dynamic team. Our client is a cutting‑edge leader, seamlessly integrating advanced technologies, telecommunications, and security systems to create innovative solutions. Responsibilities Design and maintain secure, scalable database environments, including on‑premises and cloud platforms. Optimize performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, partitioning, and capacity planning. Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies are properly implemented and regularly tested. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Collaborate with application, DevOps, and data engineering teams to support database design, deployments, upgrades, and migrations. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator. Excellent knowledge of DBA monitoring tools, data quality, and third‑party tools. Hands‑on experience with database standards and end‑user applications. Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL or NoSQL engines. Experience managing database infrastructure. Skilled in database design and documentation. Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
