About the Role Lead AWS DevOps Engineer at Kopius. Boutique strategy and product innovation firm. Builds digital solutions from concept to transformational impact. Responsabilities Team lead for the cloud infrastructure technical strategy. Optimize security and delivery across production, QA and development environments. Driving automation and best practices in our cloud infrastructure. Analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure in AWS. Monitoring system performance and recommending corrective action. Documenting current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation. Basic Qualifications Intermediate/Advanced English skills. Strong communication skills, with an ability to express ideas/solutions in language that internal clients can comprehend. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Be able to handle processes with patience and tolerance. Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets. Goal-oriented, creative and adaptable to new situations. Qualifications for the role 7+ years professional experience implementing and architecting cloud solutions infrastructure: developing CI/CD pipelines, serverless architecture patterns, monitoring system performance. Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS (AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, CDK (Cloud Dev Kit)), or similar platform. Proficiency with automating infrastructure and improving build times. Infrastructure as code and scripting proficiency. Nice to have Experience securing infrastructure to meet HIPAA standards. Experience supporting a SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure. Position Type Long-Term & Full-time. Remote from LATAM.
