Somebody that cares about code quality and not just gets things done, but gets things done right. If you're smart, have great energy, can't think about a system without a CI/CD pipeline and you want to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we are in sync. Responsibilities On your first month in Fever, you will: Be fully integrated into the team, participating in plannings, groomings, and retrospectives. Get familiar with Fever’s tech stack, frameworks, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure. Have lots of Pull Requests merged and running in production. Attend some of the Fever Original’s experiences. After 3 months in Fever, you will: Come up with solutions to new difficult problems, defining the solution from the architecture design to its implementation. Continue creating production-grade Python code designed to handle high levels of traffic, measuring the outcome of the functionalities and improving the product. Participate in some of the hackdays or hackathons we organize with other teams. On your 6th month in Fever, you will: Have responsibilities over different parts of the systems, analyzing the usage from the users and evolving the platform to meet the user’s needs. Have participated in the launch of one of our new microservices, from 0 to production. Mentor other team members through code reviews, sessions of architecture design, and pair programming. Participate in some of the team buildings we organize for your team or the whole engineering team. About You Must-have skills: Strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns. Proficient in business English. Know how to deliver code from development to production. Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption). Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. We use these technologies, so it would be a plus if you have experience in: Django/Flask. PostgreSQL. Redis. Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Experience working on agile methodology. Event communication between services. Handling services with more than 1000 requests/second. AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
