About The Role We're seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps function and scale infrastructure supporting 1 million+ active users. You'll own the performance, reliability, and evolution of our AWS‑based infrastructure while building and mentoring a high‑performing DevOps team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll split time between architecture decisions, implementation work, and team development. Our Technology Stack AWS Services Lambda for serverless compute ECS with Fargate for containerized workloads RDS for managed databases Auto Scaling for dynamic capacity management SQS, SNS, and EventBridge for event‑driven architecture Infrastructure & Deployment Terraform for Infrastructure as Code GitHub Actions for CI/CD CloudWatch for monitoring and observability (potential migration to Datadog) Kubernetes/EKS (planned migration) What We're Looking For Required 5+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience Proven experience managing infrastructure for applications with millions active users Expert‑level knowledge of AWS services, particularly Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions Deep understanding of performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting at scale Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies Kubernetes knowledge and experience (EKS experience is a plus) Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks Experience with on‑call responsibilities and incident management Nice to Have Scripting experience with Python, Node.js, or similar languages Experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ Experience with Datadog or other advanced observability platforms Background in cost optimization strategies for high‑traffic applications Experience with blue/green or canary deployment strategies Knowledge of GitOps practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
