As a Semi‑Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure that empowers the organization to access, process, and analyze information efficiently. You will work closely with data science, IT, and business teams to optimize cloud‑based solutions, automate data pipelines, and ensure real‑time data availability. The role offers hands‑on experience with modern data technologies in a collaborative environment, emphasizing data quality, efficiency, and reliability. You will contribute to building automated ETL/ELT processes, monitoring data consistency, and implementing best practices in data engineering. This position provides an opportunity to grow technically while delivering impactful solutions across various projects. Accountabilities Design and document scalable data architectures that meet current and future business needs. Build, deploy, and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow and AppFlow. Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources via APIs and connectors. Implement data validation, monitoring, and quality control processes. Develop automation scripts with Python and manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance. Continuously optimize infrastructure for efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Requirements Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data engineering or related fields. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for scripting and complex queries. Hands‑on experience with Snowflake for data modeling, optimized queries, and procedure development. Experience with Apache Airflow and Amazon AppFlow for pipeline orchestration and integration. Practical knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM. Proficient with Git/GitHub for version control, collaboration, and CI/CD deployment. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines. Problem‑solving mindset, proactive, autonomous, and results‑oriented. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams with a focus on continuous improvement. Bonus: Experience with Docker, Apache Spark, and REST/GraphQL APIs. Benefits 100% remote work.
