Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Licensed Occupational Therapist to work in our Outpatient Pediatrics Department . Only an hour south is Branson, where you can take in a family‑friendly show, visit Silver Dollar City, and experience world‑class shopping at the Branson Landing About the department: The Rehab Services Department works to promote the restoration of the functional abilities of individuals with physical, cognitive, sensorimotor, and/or perceptual impairment and communication impairment by the use of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or speech language therapy treatment. A typical day includes: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating occupational therapy treatments for patients by utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes. Identifies patients appropriate for rehabilitative therapies Establishes an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening Develops and implements treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes Communicates effectively with patients, care team members, physicians, and others Writes clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning Job Requirements: Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therap Experience: New graduates welcome, 1 year of experience preferred Skills: Problem‑solving, planning and time‑management, interpersonal communication and listening skills Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Occupational Therapist License Physical: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs., ability to work independently and with frequent distractions The position is PRN with variable hours and days to fill in for other staff members that are on vacation or increases in caseloads in our skilled nursing facility, hospital, pediatrics or outpatient clinics.
