Itmates is seeking a senior security engineer to own applied cryptography across the product, including key management, protocol design review, and migration to post-quantum algorithms. This is a remote, full-time contractor role with US Eastern overlap.
You will design and operate KMS/HSMs, review encryption and key exchange, run PKI, and contribute to certifications like PCI DSS and SOC 2. 6+ years in security, 3+ in cryptography, Go/Rust/C, and English communication required.
