Technology & Digital Analyst Position at Chevron – technology & digital analyst role. Responsibilities Provide technical support by developing and running extracts from various systems. Audit population and reporting: extract SAP and other data for sales and use tax audits. Manage extracting large datasets from IT systems & reconcile to ERP system. Utilize knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Work with appropriate teams to improve, streamline and optimize work. Review processes, reports, and other activities for process improvement opportunities. Maintain a general knowledge of U.S. sales & use and excise taxes and their application. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems, accounting, or related field. +8 years of tax systems, accounting, finance and/or audit experience. Fluent in ERP/Tax systems, Microsoft Office tools, Power BI. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP). Excellent oral/written English skills. Analytical skills and critical thinking. Preferred Qualifications U.S. indirect tax experience. Coordination/Leadership skills. Able to adapt processes in response to a fast‑paced environment.
