The firm is incubating a new insurtech venture aimed at digitizing life-insurance distribution across North America and expanding into wealth-advisory use cases. You will join as a Founding Data Engineer, designing and implementing the venture’s core data platform. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to build scalable data models, pipelines, and integrations that enable high-quality decision-making. Responsibilities Design and maintain Snowflake data models supporting analytics and core application workflows. Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines. Architect event-driven data ingestion using AWS services. Implement Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and related Snowflake capabilities. Build data quality, lineage, and observability mechanisms. Ensure high data reliability, performance, and security. Collaborate on data modeling to support internal and external reporting. Requirements 5+ years in data engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
