Join to apply for the PowerBI Designer role at GlobalLogic We are looking for a Power BI Designer with strong expertise in data visualization and analytics to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. This role focuses on transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through effective visual storytelling, working closely with technical and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong data skills (SQL, ETL) with a UX/UI mindset , ensuring dashboards are both technically accurate and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Apply best practices in data visualization to present insights in a clear, intuitive, and impactful way Work with large datasets, transforming and modeling data through ETL processes Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and prepare data from multiple sources Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visual solutions Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across all dashboards and reports Maintain and enhance existing dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business requirements Support data validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization efforts Apply UX/UI principles to improve usability, accessibility, and consistency of data products Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau when required Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in data visualization and dashboard design Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) Solid understanding of ETL processes and data transformation Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data Experience working with Tableau Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience working in cross-functional teams Nice to Have Experience with Power Apps Background in telecommunications or large-scale data environments Knowledge of data modeling and performance optimization best practices Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
