Responsibilities Guide an implementation for a CRM, CDP and/or Marketing Automation system from beginning to end, leading the documentation and planning process and writing requirements for the implementation of the actual code. Recognise opportunities and solutions to key business challenges through technology, recommend additional tools and provide guidance on extracting more value from current tools, while designing entire Martech stacks from scratch. Provide specifications and requirements for the internal technical team, working with the technical project manager and engineers to ensure a successful outcome. Lead implementation projects and consistently communicate on project deliverables with clients. Act as an SME on sales presentations and stand‑up meetings with clients, speaking confidently about deliverables, ideas and best practices. Support marketing analytics and reporting as needed. Understand user journeys, marketing automation, and customer data. Understand multi‑/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging. Understand user states, events and user journey mapping. Examples of projects Multi‑tool MarTech implementations, including CDP and Marketing Automation Platforms, according to business use cases and prioritisation alongside business strategists. Assist in creating new marketing programmes by translating technical requirements into required code for various data sources and their flows to each destination. Marketing automation migrations, ensuring proper data schemas to maintain parity for clients’ existing lifecycle programmes, optimising for new use cases, and enabling clients with new tool features. Optimise clients’ existing lifecycle programmes by improving data accuracy, identifying schema improvements, or other efficiencies to drive greater personalised messaging. Minimum requirements to be considered 5+ years of experience in software development. 5+ years of experience integrating third‑party tools and involvement in the planning and development of ETL solutions. 2+ years of direct experience working within Segment, mParticle, Tealium, Treasure Data or a similar CDP tool. 2+ years of experience in client or key stakeholder interaction. Previously designed and architected a CDP or Marketing Automation integration and can speak through the entire implementation process. Experience with APIs, Mobile SDKs, HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript. Experience with cloud technology such as AWS (EC2/S3/Lambda/Redshift), GCP, Heroku or iPaas. The ideal candidate Experience determining cross‑platform technical requirements across the MarTech stack. Platform experience designing and implementing solutions within Segment, Rudderstack, mParticle, Tealium or similar CDPs. Technical experience configuring automated campaigns and journeys within lifecycle marketing tools such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, customer.io or similar platforms. Experience with other tools across the MarTech stack, including analytics, enrichment and attribution. Understand multi‑/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging. Understand marketing attribution and can audit platform integrations and attribution data. Proficient with JSON or SQL/data modelling best practices. Experience in data activation using reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census. Proficient with scripting languages and Lambda functions. Has the ability to clearly articulate and present technical topics to a non‑technical audience. Platform experience with Shopify or Magento.
