Global Physical Security Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist cyrus one whatjobs.com The Global Physical Security Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist is pivotal in supporting the Global Physical Security Organization by enhancing operational efficiency through data‑driven insights and effective vendor management. This position is centered around the analysis of diverse security data sources and is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI, Smartsheet, and SharePoint to summarize critical security metrics, ensuring that stakeholders have timely access to relevant information for effective decision‑making. Responsibilities Data Analytics and Reporting Analyze security‑related data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform workload allocation, enhance security measures, align with budgetary needs, and meet customer expectations. Create and maintain detailed reports and visual dashboards for stakeholders, summarizing critical security metrics (e.g., incident response times, access control breaches, risk assessments) and key performance indicators. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to refine data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and alignment across all reporting platforms. Define and monitor KPIs to assess organizational performance, track risks, and ensure completion of security objectives. Generate trend analyses to support strategic initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and potential risks. Vendor Performance Management Assist in managing relationships with security vendors and service providers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality standards. Support vendor selection through market research, comparative analysis of proposals, and cost‑effective solutions. Evaluate vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance and address issues promptly. Assist in contract negotiations, including scope, terms, SLAs, and pricing, collaborating with internal teams. Manage the RFP process, preparing bid packages, facilitating onboarding, and evaluating proposals against operational requirements. Compile and present findings to stakeholders for informed decision‑making. Procurement and Product Selection Collaborate with internal departments to identify and select products and services that enhance operational efficiency. Develop sourcing strategies that ensure cost‑effectiveness and timely delivery. Conduct cost‑benefit analyses to evaluate potential purchases and ensure optimal value. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform procurement decisions. Budget Support and Tracking Perform cost analyses and track expenditures to align projects with financial goals. Support budget development and management for physical security initiatives. Lead purchase order opening and invoice review to ensure alignment with orders and received goods. Monitor expenditures, review financial reports, forecasts, and implement forecasting techniques to anticipate future needs. Conduct regular financial analyses to assess ROI and recommend cost optimization strategies. Support for Global Security Data Policy and Procedures Provide backup for global security data policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Monitor adherence to best practices in data handling and reporting. Maintain reporting tools, document libraries, and service equipment catalog to support operational efficiency. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in data analytics, vendor management, or related roles. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet). Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation processes. Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information clearly. Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Occasional travel to vendor offices and operational sites may be required. Experience in the security or data center industry is preferred. Education / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Certifications in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus. Experience with global security programs, particularly in the data center or technology sector. Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks for managing support.
