Overview Hadco Group is looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist. JOB SUMMARY This role primarily supports HADCO Experiences' corporate communications by managing and growing the company's social and digital community, creating engaging content, and ensuring timely, accurate updates across all platforms. The position assists in planning and executing marketing and public relations initiatives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring all communications align with the brand's mission and corporate image. Responsibilities PRODUCTS & EVENTS Assist with the conceptualization and planning of special events for HADCO Experiences Ensure that all the content for events is submitted in a timely manner to the respective Managers and Personnel relating to HADCO Experiences Assist in the development and execution of programs and events to promote the corporate image of HADCO Experiences as a socially responsible business entity Contribute to managing administrative functions and company events to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, including compilation of guest lists and creation and distribution of invitations, management and logistics of suppliers and vendors and public relations and media coverage for events (where applicable) MEDIA & ADVERTISING Responsible for copywriting for HADCO Experiences; and thorough review of all advertisements to be published internally and externally, ensuring the correct logos, grammar, corporate information and content are used Contribute ideas and concepts that will serve to enhance the company's online presence HADCO Times – writing articles to submit on events and other areas of interest at HADCO Experiences for The HADCO Times Assist in managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis Liaise with all relevant personnel to review and approve artwork, billboards, etc. Liaise with Media Houses to place advertisements for HADCO Experiences SOCIAL/DIGITAL MEDIA Management of HADCO Experiences' Social Media Platforms Content Creation for Social Media Reels, Captions, Posts, Stories - Collate current information in each area and responsible for all communication, conflict resolution, and compliance on websites, and social media sites (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, etc.) Community Management (together with the Sales and Reservations Department) Create Reels for social media from content videotaped/photographed at the various properties Ensure all content is approved by the relevant persons prior to posting Implement creative social media strategies to grow fan base, traffic to our websites and customer engagement Creating and updating calendars for social media posts monthly Track and monitor the performance of social media activities and campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and campaigns weekly. Provide Monthly Reports on Social Media Activity detailing insights on audience, growth and content performance – due by the fifth working day of each month Participate in events for the purpose of creating and collating content, for e.g. hikes Visit HADCO Experiences' properties monthly to capture updated content for social media Ensure that social media pages and platforms are updated in a timely manner when information is relevant or trending Liaise with Social Media Influencers to coordinate approved visits when required for HADCO Experiences WEBSITE Reviewing HADCO Experiences' website bi-monthly to check for functionality, updates and accuracy Ensure that all events are updated on the relevant sites in a timely manner Ensure that prices reflect the current rates for rooms, day passes and events and tours/hikes STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Encourage, facilitate, and develop relationships with customers and other stakeholders. Liaising with and answering enquiries from social media, individuals and other organizations (where applicable) Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to provide or request information Disseminating complaints received via digital and traditional media to respective personnel for action. Attendance to Events and Executions when required OTHER Archive and track HADCO Experiences' documents and memorabilia Update HADCO Experiences' Supplier Database Track all expenses relating to marketing, social media and Google ads Liaise with the marketing and PR agencies in the US and UK on external emails, memos, newsletters, sales kits, corporate profiles, presentations, and other engagements as needed Liaise with the Graphic Artist to create artwork for internal and external communication Scan the daily/weekend newspapers for any information related to HADCO Experiences and scanning/archiving relevant articles Source materials and suppliers for HADCO Experiences for printing materials and materials relating to events Create Presentations for Trade Shows, Marketing, etc. Assist with collating information for Green Certifications and other relevant applications Other Functions and Responsibilities Flexible to assist in any other activities of the Corporate Communications Department, and any other functions assigned by the Group co-Chief Executive Officer. HSE Roles and Responsibilities of Staff: Accountability All Employees demonstrate accountability by: Following all HSE rules at all times. Becoming familiar with the HSE procedures required to perform their jobs safely. Ensuring full compliance with all applicable legislations and site regulations. Attending and actively participate in scheduled HSE training meetings, toolbox talks and HSE programs. Performing all work in a safe manner. Using all Safe Systems of Work available. For example, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permits, Risk Assessments, Checklists etc. Observing good housekeeping practice. Reporting the taking of any medication while on the workplace to their Supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related discipline of study. Experienced in the use of social media platforms, namely Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Proficiency in the use of Canva, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Office applications. Required Skills Experience in content creation, for e.g. reels for social media Outstanding creative writing, grammar and communication skills High level understanding of a diverse range of social media platforms Experience in social media use and strategy development Ability to deliver quality work in a fast paced and high-volume environment Critical thinking and the ability to follow up and follow through on projects Knowledge of online marketing and tactics Experience or understanding of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Maximum will be an asset.
