Overview One of Sydney’s construction companies specializing in double brick and concrete houses is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager to manage and deliver residential projects. Building type: Low rise residential building, typically fire-resistive structure with steel and concrete, 2 storeys plus basement car park. Permanent position with strong salary package. Remuneration Competitive Base Salary ($120,000-$160,000) + Super + Car + Mobile + Laptop + Project Bonus. Key Responsibilities Manage the full life cycle of the construction project from early works, through to finish. Develop the site layout plan to ensure the most effective construction sequences and methodology, meeting budget and timeframe. Prepare material take-offs and estimates for variations. Liaise with internal & external suppliers, trades, architects, engineers, and public authorities to ensure projects are compliant with BCA & Australian Standards. Prepare 4-weekly schedule, weekly status based on target programme. Ensure final completion of subcontractors' works by due dates. Maintain delivery dockets/files for all concrete, reo, fixtures and issue to CA when required. Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the construction. Foster an environment that achieves an excellent safety culture. Skills & Requirements Passionate about building industry and willing to meet challenges. Ability to manage subcontractors and attention to details. 3+ years experience in similar site management; experience with basement construction builds is essential. Capable of running multiple projects (three sites at least). Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and stormwater plans. Ability to take measurements and calculate the amount of materials needed. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak Mandarin is advantageous. Basic knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word and Outlook). General Construction White Card. Full Australian driver's license.
