Your Role We are looking for a Senior Web Designer & Digital Illustrator with a strong background in tech and a deep understanding of modern design systems. This role blends high-quality visual design and digital illustration with hands‑on implementation to create experiences that are not only beautiful but also efficient, scalable, and technically sound. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and brand teams to build cohesive, performant web experiences. What You’ll Do Lead the design of responsive, accessible web interfaces rooted in a scalable design system. Own the creation of digital illustrations, iconography, and brand visuals that elevate product and marketing experiences. Translate conceptual ideas into polished UI/UX flows, prototypes, and production-ready assets. Partner with engineering to efficiently implement designs, ensuring pixel‑perfect quality and firm performance. Evolve and maintain our brand design system, contributing reusable components, tokens, and documentation. Audit and optimize existing interfaces for consistency, usability, and visual quality. Participate in user research and apply insights to refine design decisions. Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints. What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in web design, product design, or UI/UX roles within fintech orgs. Advanced illustration skills , with a portfolio showcasing digital artwork, icon sets, and/or product storytelling visuals. Expert knowledge of modern design tools, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop; bonus for After Effects or 3D tools. Fluency in design systems, creating, maintaining, and working with component libraries at scale. Strong understanding of front‑end implementation, HTML/CSS/JavaScript best practices, responsive design patterns, and component behaviour. Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and balance creative vision with technical constraints. Experience working with accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability heuristics. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills. A portfolio demonstrating both aesthetic excellence and clear design‑thinking processes. Nice to Have Experience working with React or component‑driven development environments. Animation or motion design skills. Experience with A/B testing, analytics tools, or data‑informed design.
