Bilingual Medical Interpreter (Spanish/English) I-Call International is looking to hire more Spanish Interpreters to work remotely. As a Spanish consecutive medical interpreter, your primary responsibility is to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients who speak Spanish. Responsibilities Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other information between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and other medical staff. Provide cultural mediation services to help patients understand the healthcare system and navigate it effectively. Assist healthcare providers in understanding cultural differences that may affect patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in the interpretation profession. Document interpretation services provided, including date, time, duration, and type of interpretation. Keep up-to-date with the latest medical terminology and healthcare practices to ensure accurate interpretation. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish and English. Experience in medical interpretation or translation. Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with the healthcare system. Good communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work well under pressure. Technical Requirements 15 Mbps download and upload. USB headsets compulsory. Good PC (5th gen or higher with a minimum of 8GB RAM). LAN (Ethernet) connection. HD webcam. Compensation Pay rate: 5 USD per hour. Paid training. Timings: Hourly based program – EST Time Zone.
