We are looking for a strategic, highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our team as we transition our advertising model to a pay‑for‑performance structure. In this dual‑impact role, you will serve as the critical bridge between Marketing, Sales, Yield, and Product teams. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of advertising data — from tracking site traffic acquisition to optimizing monetization. Your work will directly influence our marketing spend, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize overall revenue and growth. Key Responsibilities Performance & Attribution: develop sophisticated attribution models and funnel reporting across paid and organic channels to determine ROI based on short‑ and long‑term outcomes. Yield Optimization: build and maintain campaign management data and reporting to improve monetization effectiveness and ad performance. Analytics Engineering: build and maintain robust data models in Snowflake (using dbt, Airflow, or similar) that integrate data from Segment, Salesforce, HubSpot, Iterable, and ad servers. Strategic Insights: analyze website traffic, customer conversion/retention, and inventory supply/demand to provide actionable insights for leadership. Testing & Experimentation: analyze and support experiments and A/B tests for product, marketing campaigns and yield strategies, measuring impact and identifying statistically significant trends. Dashboarding: create and manage comprehensive Looker dashboards that align marketing performance with revenue forecasting and inventory health. Requirements Experience: 5+ years of experience with a proven track record of driving strategy in a marketplace, paid marketing, B2B SaaS, or AdTech environment. Education: bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Math, CS, Engineering). Master’s degree preferred. Technical Skills: expert‑level SQL and Python; hands‑on experience with Snowflake and dbt (or similar data stack); proficiency in Looker for data visualization. Domain Familiarity: knowledge of lead funnels, marketing attribution, and ROAS; experience with ad servers and configuration platforms (e.g., Kevel, Placements.io); familiarity with event tracking (Segment, Google Analytics) and CRM data (Salesforce, HubSpot). Soft Skills: exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into a narrative for non‑technical stakeholders; a self‑starter mindset with high attention to detail; comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and identifying the best path forward with light guidance.
