Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for business‑critical applications. This role requires expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, and scripting, with a focus on deployment automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and maintain Azure YAML pipelines for CI/CD, including Quality Gates (QGs) to ensure code quality and compliance. Source Control Management: Apply Git and SCM best practices for version control and collaborative development. Cloud Infrastructure Setup: Provision and configure Azure resources to meet engineering requirements. Infrastructure Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform, integrated with Azure pipelines. Container Orchestration: Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters, leveraging advanced features for scalability and resilience. Application Understanding: Analyze application architecture and interactions with other services to assist in troubleshooting and performance optimization. Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks and integrate them into CI/CD workflows. Identity & Access Management: Understand AAD application registration and backend interactions for secure deployments. Data & Event Flow: Comprehend data pipelines and event‑driven architectures to support application reliability. Innovation: Knowledge of Machine Learning workflows and Lightbend Cloudflow is a plus. Release & Deployment: Implement best practices for release management and deployment strategies. Required Skills Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML‑based automation. Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration. Proficiency in Git and SCM best practices. Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform). Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Familiarity with AAD, networking, and cloud security principles.
