This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Partner Development, Operations, and Go-to-Market execution in Argentina, with oversight of World partners in Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The ideal candidate combines sales leadership, operational rigor, strategic thinking, and a strong bias towards execution and results. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure global and local alignment and operational excellence. This is a foundational role in one of World’s most strategic markets, offering an opportunity to shape how Argentines experience and adopt our protocol. About The Team The Market Operations team oversees the strategy execution and deployment of Orbs and network utility across all markets. This group drives user adoption by managing partnerships, business development, distribution of Orbs on the ground, and building network utility. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end sales funnel for both merchant acquisition and retail development in Argentina, from sourcing, acquisition to activation. Build and execute local go-to-market strategies that align with broader global strategy and regional milestones. Leverage internal performance data and market insights to shape merchant targeting, incentive models, and campaign strategy. Prioritize verticals and test offers and innovative go-to-market strategies that drive both user verifications and long-term retention. Team Leadership Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of field-based, performance-driven sales contractors. Manage a team to operate World Spaces. Source and manage Partners in Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Define training, targets, and incentive structures to motivate results across acquisition, activation, and quality benchmarks. Become a World ambassador in your territory and the face of World in the region. Partner & Stakeholder Management Oversee development and acquisition of key merchant relationships, including anchor accounts and national chains. Identify, secure, launch, and manage key partners in Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay; focus on partners that can scale the World network. Collaborate with the Global Head of Market Operations and local partners to deliver on shared goals and ensure integrated execution across sales, Orb deployment, and network operations. Serve as a liaison with cross-functional teams including Product, Device, and Logistics to localize strategy and execution. Operational Excellence Track and report KPIs such as Orb installations, active merchant count, reward redemptions, location performance, and cost per Orb deployed. Ensure compliance with local legal and policy standards for merchant onboarding and user rewards. Design and implement scalable systems to support the strategy across all distribution channels with asset deployment and performance monitoring. Support Partners in Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay to adhere to World standards and maintain a high-quality network and user experience. About You 15+ years of relevant experience; prior success in high-performance operations, business development, or sales roles in Argentina. Scrappy and comfortable in a fast-moving, dynamic team environment. Strong cross-cultural competency and the ability to work across cultures and countries. Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with cross-functional teams and local stakeholders in the South Cone. Innovative, analytical, and data-driven; able to contribute to larger strategy conversations. Based in Buenos Aires, willing to travel (30-50% of time) and experienced in the South Cone region. Experience scaling distributed partner or merchant networks with clear funnel accountability. Nice to have Experience scaling a merchant network or channel partner ecosystem. Experience in Web3, rewards/loyalty platforms, or identity systems. Interest in blockchain, privacy-preserving identity, and decentralized systems. Familiarity with South Cone sub-region nuances, consumer behavior, offline retail, or regulatory environments.
