Manager Accountant

Manager Accountant - Functional Analyst SGF Global is a Global Leader with more than 30 years of experience providing recruitment solutions. We are looking for a Manager Accountant - Functional Analyst who will be responsible for the Functional Analyst for an important multinational firm based in CABA, Argentina. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountant, Business Administration or related field. Knowledge of F&A, including but not limited to General Ledger, Close activities, FP&A internal controls like SOX compliance, vendor management & T&E. Willingness to work in hybrid model of working with distributed team across multiple locations and time zones. Aptitude spot process and system improvement opportunities. Must have Good English written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Energy & Utilities sector preferred. Strategic Leadership Team Management Technical Knowledge Effective Communication Decision-Making Key Responsibilities Perform the finance process and finance systems technical support while adhering to key SLAs. With your techno‑functional hands‑on experience, you are expected to provide inputs on how to improve underlying processes and manage user support requirements more efficiently and effectively, including but not restricted to automation via workflow, RPAs etc. Participate and lead in managing system improvement, enhancement projects in terms of tracking progress of projects, making sure project goals and requirements are clearly captured, user acceptance testing activities, user training etc. Making sure tickets allocated to respective teams are actioned and resolved in a timely manner. Interact with various stakeholder in the Finance function to understand and enable their requirements in terms of systems performance and support; partner with teams to ensure monthly activities are performed per agreed schedule. Participate and support month end close, year close activities and quarterly and annual planning exercises. Support finance stakeholders to pull data and reports for audit queries, FERC reporting, support and process master data change/update requests.
