Provide technical support, gather user feedback for continuous improvement, and maintain comprehensive documentation for specialized processing applications. Key Work Activities Support the implementation and maintenance of processing applications used within the organization Assist with the configuration and customization of applications to meet the specific needs of the business Execute testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the functionality and security of applications Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of processing applications Collate feedback from users to continually improve digital data services Implement standard methodology for application development, testing, and quality assurance Knowledge Strong knowledge of contracting, negotiating, organization development, change management, technology trends, strategic planning, action planning and management required for successful performance. Demonstrated strong knowledge of processing operations applications support (Aveva PI). Has an understanding of project management: budget reporting, control, and forecasting. Experience in writing code, development of interface logic (API’s) and advanced troubleshooting techniques. Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering, Information technology, Business Management or related field. 2-5 Years Experience In Related Field Required. Technical Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-driven individual focused on service with strong skills for issue resolution. Adept at collaborating with teams of employees and vendors in a matrixed environment and from multiple cultures. Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions, and take action. Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and a strong customer service orientation. Influences business through improved understanding of technology issues, balances competing priorities within business groups and across IT functional groups. Working Conditions: Ability to travel to domestic and international mine or exploration sites where conditions vary. Must be legally able to work in a designated country or qualify for a work visa where required. Proficiency in English required; second language (Spanish, French, Dutch) an asset.
