About the role As a Senior Java Developer you will make impact by building scalable backend solutions using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications and provide production support. In this role, you will: Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. Develop end-to-end applications following TDD principles. Write and maintain unit/integration tests using Mockito, Jasmine, and Playwright. Participate in release management and deployments during US nearshore/onshore hours. Provide production support and resolve issues during onshore hours, if needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Work model We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.
