Globallogic is seeking a React Engineer with intimate familiarity with the web platform to join our team. Our Front End Engineers are engaged in the full spectrum of product development, working with a team to write great software and build engaging products.

Our web stack today includes React, Angular, Vue.js, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, . NET, and we have Go in production as well. You are a human first, a developer second.

You are willing and able to partake in and lead communication with project stakeholders. You should be able to explain technical constraints to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience working on large development projects Experience using React, TypeScript and Unit Testing (MUST) Advanced English level Get equally excited about great UI and API design Can articulate the difference between progressive enhancement and graceful degradation Could have a conversation about the importance of animation in an interface Work well with others Love the journey as much as the destination Stay current with evolving front end tools like Webpack and Babel Job Responsibilities Work along with the client and our US‑based Method team developing React applications that are part of the Digital‑First program. Department/Project Description Our client is an American leader in the consumer financial services industry. One of the largest initiatives in 2023 for our client is the digital transformation and integration of multiple Digital and Operations platforms. Traditionally, these applications have run in separate channels, but they have identified multiple workstreams that they want to move into the Digital Channel / integrate with existing products.

All these products will be developed in React and will be built in micro‑service front ends for rapid feature deployment/less dependency on each other. Examples of the workstreams/products could include Pay my Bill, Digital Alerts, Collections, Manage My Account, Fix My Problem/Disputes.
