Traffic Manager

PURPOSE Project Intake, Scheduling and Assignment RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the 450+ monthly project requests, assign resources, and build timelines based on scope and priority. Partner with Creative Manager and similar colleagues across the department to determine ideal delivery of that project. Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to ensure timely execution. Balance workloads across design, event, video, and operations teams, optimizing capacity and utilization. Maintain and improve project management systems (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Trello), ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Provide regular updates to leadership on project health, resource needs, and delivery timelines. Take lead from the Creative Director and the Creative Manager on frequent initiatives that require detailed project plans and management. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in design, communications, marketing, or similar degree. 3-5 years of experience in creative operations, project management, or traffic management within an agency or in‑house creative team. Located close to the local region office for frequent meetings and working sessions — strong understanding of creative workflows across design, video, and digital production. Proficiency in project management tools and software like Smartsheet, Excel, Microsoft Planner, and/or Adobe Workfront. Familiarity with DAM platforms and systems, specifically Bynder, and how to manage user permissions, taxonomy and asset management. Excellent communication, time management, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities. Experience working with cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
