Our IT department seeks new candidates for its dynamic team supporting worldwide operations across the value chain from exploration to production. What role you will play in our team Pair traditional system administration practices with automation and software development skills to run technical applications of the oil and gas industry. Interact with engineers and users worldwide from our office in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires. What you will do Manage and automate the operations of bare‑metal and virtual infrastructure. Develop infrastructure as code in support of existing automation initiatives in an Agile environment. Proactively build and implement platforms to enable reliable business capabilities. Manage tools for performance monitoring, alerting, capacity and utilization management, and service recovery. Work closely with architects, engineering teams, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into end‑to‑end solutions. Participate in platform and systems security reviews. Support on‑prem, virtual, and cloud systems along with storage. About You Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced English communication skills. 2+ years of experience in infrastructure (with automation) or site reliability engineering applying DevOps principles. Experience managing Windows/Linux environments on physical and virtual infrastructure. Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git), build management, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Solid scripting and coding skills for automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform). Proficiency in debugging and problem solving. Preferred Qualifications / Experience Experience in an Agile organization. Continuous learning mindset. Hands‑on experience with programming languages (React, Python, Ansible). Experience with Linux administration. Backend services technical skills including setup, administration, scaling, and monitoring. Understanding of network core concepts (proxy, VLANs, firewall, IP addressing, ExpressRoute). Experience with Terraform, ARM/CloudFormation, or similar. Knowledge of REST API best practices.
