Volunteer Business Plan Developer to Support the Growth of a Sustainable NGO in the Creative Industries with Animana & Hecho por nosotros We are seeking a talented and passionate volunteer to assist us in crafting a strategic business plan that will guide the next stage of growth for Hecho por Nosotros. The ideal candidate will be committed to our mission and possess the skills to develop a comprehensive, impactful plan. This is an opportunity to work with an Ashoka Fellow This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity About The Affiliated Organization Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) is a non‑governmental organization (NGO) with consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), dedicated to driving systemic change. We harness the power of the creative economy to transform society and create a more sustainable future. Our mission is to provide access and resources for the next generation to experience the interconnectedness between individuals, the world, nature, and business, while fostering systemic change within the framework of the creative economy. We collaborate with micro, small, and medium‑size enterprises, artisans, designers, online sellers, marketing experts, and many others to build more sustainable creative industries. Our partnership network includes global and local organizations such as Ashoka, UNESCO, and the European Union. Job Description Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with leadership to understand organizational goals, challenges, and opportunities. Research market trends and industry best practices to inform strategy. Draft a detailed business plan, encompassing vision, strategy, operations, financial projections, and impact metrics. Provide actionable recommendations to improve sustainability and scalability. Prepare presentations or documentation to secure funding or partnerships. Volunteer Logistics Estimated hours required per week: 15 The estimated duration of the project is: 6‑12 months This position is Virtual (Remote) Language Requirements English; Spanish Desired Skills And Experience Background in business, management, economics, or related fields (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Strong analytical, writing, and research skills. Prior experience in business planning, NGOs, or B Corps is required. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
