Decision Analytics – Associate Data Analyst We are seeking an Associate Data Analyst to support Discovery and Early R&D clients. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about working at the intersection of science, data, and business consulting. You will collaborate closely with scientists and biologists to deliver data‑driven insights and solutions that enable cutting‑edge drug discovery research. While a background in biology is not required, a strong interest in biomedical research, biology, or pharmaceutical R&D is essential to thrive in this collaborative and mission‑driven environment. What you’ll do: Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to understand research and business needs, translating them into actionable data insights. Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI to communicate complex scientific data clearly. Using SQL, Python, and PySpark to support early‑stage R&D decision‑making. Support the design of scalable data solutions by applying cloud engineering and bioinformatics principles in collaboration with data engineers. Contribute to the development of custom scientific tools and interfaces using JavaScript and React. Assist in documenting requirements and conducting business analysis to ensure alignment with clinical study processes and standards. What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s Hands‑on experience in dashboard development using Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI Strong SQL skills for querying, joining, and transforming large datasets Proficiency in Python for data analysis. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their application in bioinformatics workflows Understanding of data models, ETL processes, and data quality validation. Familiarity with one or more of clinical study data, biomarker assays, omics datasets or chemical and PK/PD assay data Clear communication and documentation skills to collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project managers.
