Join to apply for the Fraud Operations Analyst role at AstroPay We are looking for a Fraud Prevention Analyst to help protect our platform and users from fraud, scams, and abuse. This role is a hybrid between operational work (case reviews, user monitoring) and strategic tasks (pattern detection, workflow improvements). Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Ability to balance operational workload with strategic thinking. Excellent English communication (written and verbal). Experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, or case management preferred. Proactive, organized, and collaborative — a real team player. Bonus: Familiarity with Looker, Retool, Intercom, Notion, or SQL basics. Review and investigate suspicious transactions, users, and alerts, ensuring consistent fraud decisions. Monitor user flows, patterns, and typologies to detect mule networks or scam operations. Manage account restrictions, escalations, and dispute resolutions, coordinating across teams. Handle communication with stakeholders (internal & external) on fraud‑related cases. Contribute to fraud‑rule optimization and continuous improvement. Support SAR/STR filings and documentation for regulatory compliance when required.
