Principal Solutions Architect

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business requirements into robust, scalable architectures. You will act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, guiding both internal teams and external stakeholders through complex projects. The role involves hands‑on implementation across cloud platforms, programming, and data integration technologies, while also mentoring and managing other architects and engineers. You will help shape client strategies, ensuring high performance, security, and operational excellence. Accountabilities Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of end‑to‑end data solutions across cloud platforms and enterprise environments Collaborate with client stakeholders, technology partners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery Mentor and manage Solution Architects and Data Engineers, fostering internal growth and high performance Translate business requirements into technical designs, including detailed solution documentation, roadmaps, and presentations Ensure solution scalability, security, performance, and robust data integration across diverse systems Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and client needs Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership Requirements 8+ years of hands‑on experience as a Solutions Architect designing and implementing data solutions 2+ years of consulting leadership experience with external clients Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and/or Scala Expertise in core cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks) and SQL Experience with data integration technologies (Spark, Kafka, Streamsets, Fivetran, NiFi, etc.) Knowledge of distributed data storage, workflow orchestration, and data modeling methodologies Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, mentoring staff, and driving project success Excellent client‑facing communication skills, including presentations and detailed technical documentation Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Preferred experience with automated data transformation, orchestration tools, and multi‑source data integration Benefits Remote‑first work environment with flexible schedule Competitive compensation package and benefits Casual, award‑winning, collaborative work culture Generous PTO and holiday policy Professional development and certification opportunities Inclusive and diverse environment fostering creativity and autonomy Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge data platforms and solutions Why Apply Through Jobgether?
