Business Intelligence Developer

Overview Business Intelligence Developer – Buenos Aires, Argentina We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of business and data, acting as a key translator between stakeholders and technical data teams. This BI Developer will gather and formalize requirements, translate functional and metric needs into data logic, and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality BI solutions. While formal people leadership is not required, strong coordination, ownership, and proactive problem-solving are essential. In This Role You Will Partner with business stakeholders and other BI and Data team members to gather, analyze, and document reporting and analytics requirements Build and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and other functional documentation Act as the primary link between business teams and Data Engineers, translating functional metric definitions into clear business and data logic Support the design, validation, and evolution of dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, usability, and consistency Work hands-on with Tableau on dashboard development, testing, and enhancements Query and analyze data using Snowflake to validate metrics, investigate issues, and support analysis Proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities in existing BI solutions Propose solutions, best practices, and improvements related to data modeling, metrics, and reporting standards Support prioritization of BI initiatives in alignment with business needs Experience You Already Have 1-2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst, Developer or Analytics-focused role Proven experience gathering requirements and producing clear, structured BRDs Strong experience with Tableau for reporting and dashboarding Hands-on experience working with Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses) Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data structures and business logic Ability to translate business questions into well-defined metrics and data requirements Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working across business and technical teams in complex environments Desired / Nice-to-Have Experience with BigQuery Experience or coordinating BI or analytics initiatives Exposure to data governance, metrics standardization, or analytics best practices Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments About Monks Monks is the global, purely digital, unitary operating brand of S4Capital plc.
