Key Responsibilities Participate in designing and planning scalable backend solutions for AI‑powered systems. Propose, architect, and implement new backend solutions and improvements to existing infrastructures. Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Frontend, UX, Product, Data, Backend) to solve complex technical challenges. Create high‑quality documentation, including architectural diagrams and technical explanations for other engineering teams. Advocate for engineering excellence in code quality, security, reliability, and performance. Write clean, maintainable, highly performant backend code that meets internal standards. Identify, communicate, and address technical debt to boost long‑term team velocity. Manage LLM operations including cost, latency, and workflow observability, using Langfuse for monitoring and debugging. Develop, optimize, and maintain LLM pipelines and tools using LangChain and other generative AI frameworks. Qualifications 5+ years of backend engineering experience. Advanced Python experience (FastAPI required). Strong expertise with LangChain, and hands‑on familiarity with Langfuse for observability. Solid knowledge of SQL databases and caching technologies such as Redis, plus experience with asynchronous architectures. Proficiency with AWS services. Strong understanding of SCRUM and Agile development methodologies. Proven experience in prompt engineering and tuning LLM behavior. Passion for improving product quality, security, performance, and engineering standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams. Proactive, curious, and committed to continuous learning and innovation.
