Job Summary Our US-based client is the O.G. online gallery platform with 10+ years of history and tens of thousands of photographers. Under new ownership as of 2022, they’re entering a new chapter of growth and product expansion. As the Business Operations Engineer (Growth & Integrations), you’ll be the technical backbone behind the tools that keep the business running. You’ll connect the marketing site, CRM, product, and data tools so that photographers discover, activate, and actually use the features that help them earn more. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and operations. Business Overview The company is the O.G. online gallery platform. They allow photographers to upload their photos to beautifully-designed online galleries, deliver them to clients, and sell high-quality print products through world-class labs. They’re now expanding their feature set through a deep integration, and they need a Growth Engineer to help them unlock that potential. Qualifications Helpful: satisfaction from making a positive impact on teammates and customers Proactive: spot opportunities to improve flows and systems without waiting to be asked Technical: comfortable owning integrations, APIs, and light backend work end-to-end Communicative: explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical teammates Curious: not afraid to learn new tools or reimagine new approaches to existing problems Ownership-driven: responsible for ensuring “this just works” Expected Outcomes Feature Launches That Just Work: support rollout of key powered features by owning technical pieces—integrations, API/webhook setup, basic QA, and connecting feature usage to CRM and automations A Connected Growth Stack: build and maintain reliable connections between customer-facing tools so that marketing campaigns, onboarding flows, and lifecycle nurture run smoothly Meaningful System Improvements: identify and improve inefficient processes using automation, scripts, and better data plumbing; you don’t just maintain systems—you make them better Required Experience Proficient in English: strong written and verbal communication, clearly explain technical concepts, collaborate with English-speaking teammates Software Engineering Background (5–7 years): experience in software development or integrations roles, ideally in SaaS or product-led growth environments APIs & Webhooks: comfortable setting up, authenticating, and managing REST APIs and webhook flows between tools Front-End Familiarity: working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how marketing sites (ideally Webflow) connect to backend systems and tracking Prior Management Experience: will lead a small backend/technical team of 3–4 people; execution-focused, both a people manager and a hands-on technical owner Nice to Have Experience with stack or similar tools: HubSpot, Userflow, Webflow, Snowflake or similar data warehouse, Fivetran/Census or similar ETL tools, Google Apps Script for workflow automation Growth / Lifecycle Ops Experience: trigger campaigns based on product behavior, build onboarding or activation flows, support experiments and A/B tests Experience in LATAM SaaS or startups; familiarity working with US-based remote teams while based in Latin America Benefits Compensation: $2,500–$3,000 USD/month 100% remote opportunity from Latin America Growth Opportunity: as we scale, room to grow in scope, ownership, and compensation 12 days of Paid Time Off + 10 floating holidays per year 1 week of company-wide holiday closure Interview Process Application Form + Loom: short application with questions about experience and portfolio of integrations/automations, and a brief Loom introduction Pre-screening: with South's team Quick Assessment: behavioral + cognitive assessment (Predictive Index) First Interview with the Client (30–45 mins): background, communication style, approach to complex technical problems Sample of Work / Technical Exercise: small practical exercise or walk-through of a past integration built Final Interview: deeper conversation to align on expectations, working style, and roadmap Job Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Business Development, Information Technology, and Other Industry: Photography If this opportunity sounds good to you, send us your resume #J-18808-Ljbffr
