We are looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer with strong AI knowledge to join our team. ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable, maintainable data solutions that align with business and technical objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standardsContribute to architecture discussions, offering input that helps shape the direction of data-focused projectsReview code produced by fellow engineers, providing constructive feedback to uphold strong engineering practicesInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues that arise throughout the development and data processing lifecycleSupport the growth of junior team members by sharing knowledge that strengthens their technical abilitiesTake part in planning discussions, contributing to scope definition and providing accurate time estimatesStay current with evolving technology trends and apply valuable new approaches to daily workMaintain clear documentation of key technical decisions and data workflows to support long-term system stabilityWork closely with stakeholders to establish clear objectives and ensure completed work aligns with expectationsRequirementsA minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experiencePractical knowledge of AI concepts and tools, applied to strengthen data-driven solution designStrong proficiency in Python for building and maintaining data processing applicationsExperience with Apache Kafka Streams for managing real-time data streaming pipelinesHands-on knowledge of Apache Flink for processing and analyzing large-scale streaming dataPractical experience working within an Amazon Web Services cloud environmentCapable of using SQL to structure, manage, and retrieve data from relational databasesFamiliarity with NoSQL database technologies for handling unstructured or semi-structured dataUnderstanding of CI/CD practices that enable consistent, automated software and data pipeline releasesSolid background in Data Software Engineering, building reliable and scalable data-centric systemsKnowledge of SDLC Methodologies and their implementation to support organized, efficient project executionExperience working within Agile frameworks to support iterative, collaborative developmentFluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higherWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
