About the Team At CookUnity, the Brand and Performance Creative teams develop and execute world‑class marketing activations and experiences that drive acquisition, brand awareness, and loyalty. The Performance Creative Studio (PCS) sits at the intersection of storytelling, data, and technology, merging creative craftsmanship with performance insights and AI‑driven optimization. Through insight‑inspired, AI Powered, data‑informed, and brand storytelling, our Creative team builds a category‑defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies. The Role CookUnity is looking for a Video Editor with a deep understanding of performance marketing and AI‑frist production workflows to join our Creative team. This individual will edit compelling short‑form and long‑form video content that bridges storytelling with measurable results across digital and offline media (e.g. Meta, TikTok, YouTube, OTT, Direct mail as well as other emerging channels). The ideal candidate is both a creative editor and a performance‑minded thinker, someone who can iterate rapidly, test variations, and leverage AI tools to scale creative output while maintaining quality and brand integrity. Responsibilities Concept, produce, and edit video content for CookUnity across paid and organic channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, website, and in‑app). Collaborate with the the Growth team and align content with channel‑specific KPIs (CTR, CVR, customer lifetime revenue). Use AI tools (e.g., Flora, Freepik, Runway, Pika, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Sora, Descript) to streamline editing, generate variations, and enhance storytelling. Implement creative learnings from performance data to iterate, A/B test, and improve ad effectiveness. Ensure all content adheres to CookUnity brand guidelines and technical specifications. Stay ahead of emerging AI and social video trends, continuously experimenting with new formats and automation techniques. Maintain strong collaboration with designers, copywriters, and data analysts to optimize creative for performance. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive editing workflows and accelerate turnaround time. Minimum Requirements 5+ years of experience in video editing, preferably within performance marketing or DTC environments. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with AI tools for creative production (e.g., Runway, Flora, Freepik, Pika, or similar). Advanced English skills Familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop Strong understanding of social media platforms and performance creative principles Excellent storytelling, pacing, and motion design skills. Experience creating high‑performing creative variations for paid social campaigns. Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deliverables at once. Preferred Requirements Experience in performance marketing, creative testing, or digital ad production. Interest or experience in AI‑based workflows for video, sound, or asset generation. Knowledge of metadata optimization, aspect ratios, and encoding formats. Understanding of performance metrics and their creative implications (e.g., thumb‑stop rates, watch time, conversions).
