About the Role As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant, you will make an impact by ensuring the stability, performance, and optimization of complex SAP landscapes. You will be a valued member of the EPS Team and work collaboratively with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. In This Role, You Will Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems including S/4HANA, MDG, BRIM, BW/4HANA, ECC, BW, SRM, SCM, CRM, LVM, MDM, Catalog, APO Live Cache/MaxDB, GRC, IQ, EP, and Solution Manager. Manage peripheral systems such as OpenText and PGP encryption, and interfaces like printers, email servers, and file transfer tools (GoAnywhere). Ensure optimal performance and availability of SAP environments in both on-premise and cloud infrastructures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement best practices for SAP Basis administration and security. Provide expert‑level support for incidents, root cause analysis, and proactive system health checks. Work Model We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1–2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Working hours will be 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST. What You Need To Have To Be Considered 8+ years of deep SAP Basis Administration experience. 5+ years working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment. 1+ years of experience in S/4HANA, BRIM, and BW/4HANA environments. 1+ years supporting SAP in a cloud environment. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across SAP landscapes. These Will Help You Stand Out Experience with SAP Solution Manager and advanced monitoring tools. Knowledge of database technologies such as MaxDB and SAP IQ. Familiarity with encryption tools and secure file transfer protocols. Ability to work in complex, multi‑system environments with high availability requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑team projects.
