We are therefore looking for amazing people to add to our team About the role: As a Sales Development Team Lead, you’ll split your time between leading and motivating a team of Sales Development Representatives (approximately 20 % of your time) and performing hands‑on outreach work (approximately 80 %). You’ll work closely with your region’s Account Manager and Director of Sales to qualify, manage, and convert landscape contractor leads into new business opportunities. In this hybrid player‑coach role, you’ll help ensure your team meets performance goals, maintain high‑quality lead qualification standards, and contribute directly to our growth. You’ll also collaborate cross‑functionally with the operations, marketing, and tech teams to strengthen sales processes and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As our company grows, you’ll have the opportunity to grow into broader leadership responsibilities. What You’ll Do Leadership (20 %): Lead, mentor, and motivate the SDR team to achieve and exceed performance targets. Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback and coaching, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Sales Leadership to optimize processes, scripts, and outreach strategies. Support onboarding and training for new team members. Qualifier / Sales (80 %): Generate and qualify new business leads for your region, ensuring all activity is accurately tracked in our CRM (HubSpot). Conduct outreach to prospective customers via phone and email to identify opportunities and schedule follow‑ups. Understand customer pain points and clearly articulate the value we provide. Develop business review presentations for large customers in your region. Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the landscaping industry and related organizations. Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that meet regional sales and financial targets. What You’ll Need 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead qualification (B2B experience preferred) Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales or performance targets Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others – formal team lead experience is an asset Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus) Strong customer service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships Proactive, goal‑driven, and organized – comfortable managing both your own pipeline and team performance Positive attitude, perseverance, and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment Willingness to learn about the landscape and nursery industry and quickly develop product knowledge From day one, you get to… Share your ideas and actually see them come to life Grow with us through learning & promotion opportunities Work with a fun, tight‑knit team that celebrates wins together.
