Senior Project Manager We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Flexible working with a mix of home and London office days. Job Overview The Senior Project Manager is crucial in driving the success of complex market research projects and contributing to the strategic goals of the organization. This role involves comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of multimarket research projects, through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The Senior PM is able to take a step back and think strategically about what will deliver the best overall results for our clients and make that happen through collaborative teamwork across the organization. Overall, the Senior Project Manager will be a representative of SHG/Apollo’s commitment to excellence in service and project management. Responsibilities Develop, build, and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding service and strategic consultation. Lead the recruitment and management of project-related activities. Collaborate with Sampling team to design appropriate sampling strategies to secure high-quality respondents within project timelines. Engage in productive collaborations with other departments across the organization. Foster and manage vendor relationships to enhance project outcomes. Proactively review projects to mitigate risks and prevent margin and revenue shrinkage. Instead of: “Use Salesforce project planners to accurately track project margin, revenue, and costs.” Independently manage large and/or strategic projects according to SHG/Apollo standards. Manage and effectively prioritize a high workload of varying complexity, with the ability to support highly complex global projects. Address client queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring proactive resolutions to issues. Stay up to speed on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Play a mentoring role to more junior team members (e.g., occasionally assist Jr. team members with sampling strategies and project triage.) Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and projects. Strategize with BD/AM/HoQ for creative account management solutions and wallet share growth, coordinate post-mortems where needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working degree is required. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as Qualitative Project Manager in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Market research. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Word. Familiarity with Decipher and Salesforce highly desirable. Advanced Demonstrated Proficiency across various Qualitative methodologies (Pre-tests, Medical consults, TDI, VDI, Conference Recruit, IDI, Online FG, Online Communities, Ethnographies). Excellent written and spoken English skills. Preferably: Excellent command of at least one additional language in both speaking and writing. Skills and Attributes Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to following standard operating procedures. Strong team player and able to efficiently work autonomously to successfully meet and exceed the client’s expectations. Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to project management. Adaptability and flexibility in navigating complex and rapidly changing environments. Ability to delegate redundant tasks to focus on client service needs.
