Learn more: />The Data Engineer plays a key role in enabling the development of data products throughout their lifecycle from ingesting raw, ungoverned data with uncertain analytical value to leveraging well-governed sources already integrated into the companys data lake. Data ingestion can occur through batch or streaming processing. This role requires strong technical expertise and a hands-on approach, with the ability to design and implement scalable, decoupled, and functional solutions. The Data Engineer collaborates closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to automate workflows and build robust, reliable data pipelines.What to Expect + Responsibilities Collect large volumes of diverse datasetsCollaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to build robust, resilient data pipelines powering data productsGather real-world model interaction data to enable ML model retrainingContribute to the design, implementation, and production deployment of data ingestion components for the Data LakePromote a strong technical culture by applying MLOps best practices to data productsDesign, implement, and maintain ETL pipelinesContinuously design, develop, and test data-driven solutionsRequirements 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer5+ years of experience with PythonAdvanced SQL knowledge, including query optimization and performance tuningHands-on experience with GCP, especially BigQuery and other data processing servicesProven ability to design, optimize, and test scalable data architectures and pipelinesExperience working in UNIX environments, using Docker and CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of data structures and processing challengesFamiliarity with the full ML lifecycle, including rapid engineering and model retraining workflowsAdvanced English (spoken and written)Based in LATAMNice to Have Experience with TerraformExperience building scalable APIsAbility to identify potential improvements, issues, and solutions in architecturesDevOps culture mindsetBenefits 100% remote workLong-term engagement with autonomy and impactStrategic, high-visibility role in a modern engineering cultureCollaborative international team with strong technical leadershipClear path for growth and leadership within CoderioWhy Join Coderio?
