About the Role A Technical Program Manager at Compass leads complex technical cross‑functional programs across Product and Engineering. We’re looking for someone who loves to roll up their sleeves, and uses their excellent organizational and communication skills to identify problems and drive solutions. You are skilled at cross‑team coordination, project management, executive communication, and presentation skills, and are able to easily move between technical details and high level thinking. You’re a bar raiser not satisfied with just delivering programs on time— you look around corners and can represent multiple points of view. You hold a high bar for product/infrastructure architecture and can both lead technical discussions and represent the customer. At Compass You Will: Develop and manage end‑to‑end technical program execution and ensure on‑time delivery within budget Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to gather requirements, and work with engineering teams to define, evaluate, and prioritize program dependencies, scope, and implementation plans Act as project leader interacting with different stakeholders: Designers, QA team, Product and Engineering Coordinate across team lines to manage, track and deliver outcomes while evaluating and managing risks Identify opportunities for efficiency and scale and implement process improvements, best practices, and success metrics to track the impact of our work Provide programmatic leadership for technical initiatives that support our platform to power real‑estate agents, buyers and sellers Be a domain expert on real‑estate technology and products and an empathetic partner to our customers Be respected by a team of highly technical and top talent engineers What We Look For: BA/BS in Computer Science or other relevant engineering/software development experience Fluent English - spoken and written 7+ years of experience in relevant roles as Technical Program Manager, responsible for organizing timelines, planning, analyzing and decision making about when to test, QA flag concerns with dependencies, identifying potential risks and escalating them in a timely manner Experience with Mobile (iOS/Android) full life cycle initiatives Proven track record of providing exceptional program management during all phases of software development from kickoff to ship, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership throughout Ability to navigate competing product and technical priorities and skilled at identifying options and trade‑offs and achieving consensus at all levels for your recommended approach Familiarity with containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration and delivery Proficiency in utilizing Project Management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, SQL, etc.); experience with AI‑assisted tooling a plus Compass offers flexible work environment and benefits package: USD fixed monthly compensation (through Deel) Paid local national holidays Autonomy in managing delivery of your assignments and time off Mac equipment provided At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world.
