Data Analyst – Chevron – Buenos Aires The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Data Analyst. Successful candidates will join a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe. Responsibilities Understanding the business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic business objectives. Working with business and delivery teams to provide data management direction and support for data foundation initiatives and data product development. Analyzing current state of data management: process, practices, tools, and helping shape future needs. Contributing to the design of common information models. Assessing data quality concerns specific to workflow solutions being adopted and driving mitigation activities. Advising on the appropriate data integration patterns, data modelling and data quality. Maintaining and sharing knowledge of requirements, key data types and data definitions, data stores, and data creation process. Qualifications Big data computing, data acquisition, wrangling and preparation, business process and data modeling, data strategy, policies, and governance. Understanding of software engineering principles using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, DevOps, Azure Synapse. SQL – Ability to understand or write complex queries. Power BI. Relocation Options Relocation may be considered. International Considerations Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
