You\u2019ll work closely with the engineering and product teams to scale our technology, improve systems reliability, and help shape the next chapter of our platform. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain critical systems that support scalability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to architecture discussions and advocate for best practices in engineering. Take ownership of projects from planning through production, ensuring quality and performance. Dive into the codebase, especially for high-impact systems (distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, data pipelines). Proactively identify areas for improvement and introduce tools, workflows, or frameworks that increase development speed and reliability. Requirements 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated success delivering complex projects. Strong expertise in distributed systems, backend APIs, and cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in Python, AWS Lambda, MongoDB, and familiarity with ML/AI concepts. Solid architectural skills and ability to make pragmatic design tradeoffs. Track record of working effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with empathy for cross-team needs. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning projects end to end. Results In your first 6 months, success looks like: Improved performance, reliability, and scalability of core systems. Shipped major features that unlock growth and operational efficiency for sales and marketing. Reduced errors and downtime in production through thoughtful engineering practices. Helped elevate engineering standards across testing, deployment, and code quality.
