The job opportunity is with LHR Americas, which recruits people from around the world to work in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities Lead in-house new product technology development, scale up and implementations in commercial plants. Provide technology support to commercial teams and drive specialty road map commercialization. Initiate, propose and execute research and development projects; be aware of megatrends and new trends and products that can positively impact the organization’s Agri-Nutrients offering and propose solutions to customers. Provide support for Growth Projects. Provide solutions based on market requirement analysis and drive product development until it reaches commercial plants. Expertise in urea-based fertilizer technology and related plant support, including shutdowns, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed. Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. Participate in in-house product technology development, scale up and implementations in commercial plants. Collaborate with external companies, start-ups and universities and lead projects toward implementation in the plant. Provide insights, directions and support to product development within the group. Collect and interpret market, customer and farmer data; collaborate with MDTS and business to make recommendations for improvements to ensure competitiveness. Actively contribute to safety culture, coaching young employees and initiating new programs. Qualifications Masters, PhD is preferred. Experience of 15 years in dealing with new product development; experience/collaboration/previous interaction with start-ups is desirable. Strategic thinking and planning. Leadership skills to work with and influence highly talented people with diversified disciplines and cultures. Ability to create, foster and drive a culture of innovation.
