Key Responsibilities Lead Web3 design initiatives: define, own, and deliver end‑to‑end design for decentralized services, DApps, and protocols, translating smart contracts and token economics into intuitive user experiences. Collaborate across the chain: work tightly with engineering and protocol teams to understand technical constraints of various blockchains and design for immutability. Advocate for decentralized design systems: champion a design system that balances rapid Web3 innovation with robust security for wallets and staking interfaces. Prototype with precision and speed: rapidly design, prototype, and test new features, emphasizing friction reduction in Web3 flows such as wallet connection, transaction signing, gas fees, and seed phrase security. Mentor and grow the guild: coach Product Designers on decentralization, security, and self‑custody psychology; lead design critique focused on crypto UX best practices. Integrate native experiences between crypto and fiat currencies within the Deel platform. Translate cryptographic concepts into crystal‑clear narratives and interfaces, making complex operations feel friendly. Facilitate community and communication: unite anonymous users, developers, and stakeholders through inspiring design and clear vision. Requirements Deep passion for decentralization and true digital ownership. 7–9 years as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years in a Staff or equivalent leadership role. Data‑informed design mindset, using experimentation, analytics, and on‑chain metrics. Comfortable driving clarity in a high‑stakes, high‑ambiguity Web3 environment. Balance user ownership with protocol integrity and security. Strong communicator and educator, translating complex blockchain mechanics for mainstream audiences. Proven mentorship of designers navigating decentralized UX challenges. Experience embedded with blockchain engineers and smart‑contract developers. Nice to Have Solid knowledge of Crypto, DeFi, and digital asset management. Experience designing high‑stakes interfaces for wallets and DeFi platforms.
